New Metal Cutting Band-Saws

BS-210M Single Miter 110 Volt - Horizontal BandSaw
Miter cuts up to sixty degrees. Uses 110 volts electricity.
Two cutting functions (Manual or Controlled Descent).
Good for small machine shops where metal sawing applications under 6-3/4" round or square. Like other Baileigh bandsaws, it comes standard with the ability to manually cut using a trigger switch and handle, or it can be switched over to utilize a hydraulically controlled descent feature normally seen on more expensive models. The hydraulic descent feature controls the descent pressure for perfect cuts so can walk away from the machine since it will automatically stop the blade once the metal is finished being cut. A powerful 1-1/2 HP DC motor has the proper torque to drive the direct drive gearbox with no chatter, even at slower cutting speeds that are required when cutting the likes of mild steel. This machine comes standard with a DC variable speed drive allowing the operator to use the proper speed when cutting different materials like mild steel or aluminum, that increases blade life and cutting speed. The mitre angle takes seconds to change for increased production in any fabrication or machine shop and offers tooless changeovers. The vise has a rapid advancing handwheel and the vise is locked by a 1/4 turn taper handle that holds the material very secure against the searated vise plates to further reduce slipage. Such a vise system increases blade life especially when cutting round material like tubing or pipe. This horizontal band saw has a comfortable working vise height of 35 inches off the floor which reduces operator back fatigue when lifting.
The saw has a powerful industrial grade coolant pump that lubricates the blade, cools the teeth and blasts away cut chips that extends blade life. A precise liquid filled blade tension gauge extends blade and bearing life offering decades of precision sawing. Designed with a nice solid cast iron sawing head allowing for straighter cuts than welded frames. Our band saws have quality Koya taper bearings connected to hardened and ground drive shafts offering further rigidity. The blade guides employ a hardened roller bearing 1/4 turn device to straighten out the blade that is further held securely in Tungston carbide guides, assuring very straight and accurate cuts. BS-250M Single Miter 110 Volt - Horizontal Band Saw

Capable of cutting up to 9 inch round metal stock. This mitering bandsaw can cut from zero up to sixty degree angles. It has a powerful 2 HP DC motor that delivers high torque even at slower speeds, ensuring no chattering of the blade, extending blade life. This horizontal metal cutting band saw has a direct drive gear box, meaning there are no pulleys or belts, so your blade will last longer with such a positive drive. The BS-250M has a DC variable speed drive for speeds from 114 to 262 feet per minute allowing the operator to precisely adjust the speed for the proper blade and material, again increasing the life of the blade and decreasing cutting rates. Like all Baileigh bandsaws this one includes a powerful industrial grade coolant pump that washes away chips before and after the cutting area. This cools the blade teeth, lubricates the blade, and removes the metal chips from the blade. The BS-250 band saw cuts using the pull down arm and trigger switch to activate the blade and coolant, or if your in more of a production run, you can switch the machine over to cut metal using the hydraulic descent feature that will cut through the metal using the pressure you determine and will shut down the blade and coolant when completed. To change the mitre angle takes seconds considering the change uses no tools and there are no alterations needed to the vise position. The BS-250 comes standard with a stop gauge in inches and milimeters. The vise can quickly be positioned via hand wheel and ulitmately locked into position on the piece of material using a 1/4 turn taper lock coupled to the searated clamps to assure no movement to the material being cut, this ultimatly will increase blade life. The cabinet allows for a back friendly height of 35 inches and uses as little floor space as possible. Best of all this horizontal band saw requires a 110 volts of power, meaning it can work in any facility in North America that has power. Our band saws are constructed of a heavy cast iron saw head and base and the blades are guided via a tight tolerance hardened roller bearings and accompanied by tungsten wear guides. Each band saw has a powerful coolant system and a broken blade tensioning devise that shuts down the machine if the blade breaks. Of course guard doors are interlocked, so if someone opens a guard while the machine is running it will shut down the saw. The BS-20 series band saw has a hydraulic descent for larger production runs that increases blade life and reduces operator fatigue. It has a hydraulic descent control device for the down feed, that is reset when the head is manually lifted. This metal bandsaw series can cut up to 13" OD capacities. The BS-20 horizontal bandsaw has a miter saw head that can swivel up up to 60 degrees. 4 drive speeds allow the operator to fine tune the blade speed for the material they are cutting. The BS-20 metal cutting saw series requires a 1" wide saw blade by .032" wall thickness, making this series a very precise miter saw. These band saws offer more cutting capacity in a variable speed miter saw.

BS-20SA Single Miter Semi-Auto Bandsaw
The BS-20SA semi-automatic bandsaw offers a great floor plan with a heavy duty infeed table and out feed table. This band saw can be adjusted to miter from zero degrees to 60 degrees in seconds by simply lifting the lock down mechanism, there is no adjustment required to the vise clamping area. The saw cutting head swivels, while the vise and base stay stationary. The BS-20SA horizontal band saw requires a 1" band saw blade, making it an extremely accurate and fast cutting saw. Blades for this model can be sourced from your local industrial distributor. We recommend good quality replacement blades manufactured by Lenox®, Starrett®, or Wikus®. Semi automatic bandsaws like the BS-20SA hydraulically clamp the metal prior to the saw head that hydraulically descents when cutting through the material. After the cut is complete the blade stops and the head is hydraulically lifted, and the vise opens awaiting the next cut. This horizontal band saw comes standard with a variable speed drive. This allows the user to fine tune the proper speed for different materials like mild steel, bronze or aluminum. The hydraulic descent pressure can be adjusted by the operator achieving faster cut times and longer blade life, depending on what material the operator is cutting. The return position of the metal cutting head can be altered to achieve faster cycle times between cuts, when cutting smaller dimensioned pieces. This machine has an industrial grade wet coolant system with powerful streams before and after the piece of metal being cut. A powerful blast of synthetic coolant cools the blade teeth for the next cut, lubricates the blade, and blasts away metal chips that all contribute to longer blade life and a straighter cut. A typical synthetic cutting coolant comes in a five gallon container and usually requires a 1 to 10 mixture with water, meaning you can produce up to 50 gallons from one five gallon container. This coolant can be purchased locally at any industrial distributor. All Baileigh band saws come with a precise liquid filled blade tension gauge that allows for perfect tensions every time. This drastically improves blade and bearing life. The BS-20SA has a maximum cutting capacity of 13 x 18 inches. It is perfect for cutting tubing, angle iron or solids like steel or aluminum at mitre angles or perfect 90 degree cuts. The best thing about this semi automatic bandsaw is how user friendly it is for the operator. The design has slowly evolved over the past twenty years into this perfect metal cutting machine that allows miter angle changes to happen in seconds instead of minutes with older designs. The heavy duty roller table before the blade makes advancing heavy pieces of metal a breeze. The discharge table after the blade has a drop height of 1/8 inch that decreases blade twist and tooth damage increasing increasing blade life. The clamping area of this industrial bandsaw has a searated plate and powerful hydraulic clamp that ensures there won't be any movement of the metal to be cut, this decreases blade damage.
