What traits
should you look for in a machine tool distributor? Low prices
are important, but why can't you get the lowest price without having
to negotiate it? Knowledge to help you select the right machine
is important. Nobody likes talking to salespeople without expertise.
Quality varies between manufacturers so its important that your
distributor is honest about what you can expect from each machine
they sell. Support is important so they will be able to help
when you have a problem. And what about ethics? The company with
proper ethics will stand behind their machine, and if they made a
mistake they will correct it.
If
you are worried about any of the above, American Machine Tools
Corporation is YOUR metalworking machinery distributor. Whether your
next job requires a machine for cutting metal or forming metal, our
sales engineers can help you select the right machine to do the work
at the lowest cost, with our best price right up front.
Relationships are important. We have strong relationships
with our machinery manufacturers to insure you get the help you need
when you have a problem. American Machine Tool Company and our
suppliers stand behind their machines with tech support available 8
hours per day, 5 days per week to solve problems, and when more is
needed we go the extra mile. Some examples of our
commitment: When the new 90 ton press brake sold to Criotec in
Mexico had problems the customer couldn't solve with tech support, a
serviceman was sent there to fix it. When the new 40x120 lathe
sold to Quality Rewind & Electric in Canada had a problem the
customer couldn't solve with tech support, a serviceman was sent
there to fix it. When the Forenta Company of Tennessee purchased
a new bending roll machine that couldn't perform as promised, we
gave them a 100% refund. When the Carthage Company of New York
received their new CNC Bed Milling Machine with rain water in the
CNC controller, the controller was replaced at no charge. When
Foothills Excavating of Colorado couldn't use their newly purchased
line boring equipment, the customer was able to return the equipment
for a refund minus the restocking cost. When we accidently
shipped machines with 3 phase electrics instead of 1 phase electrics
to Nitromotion Racing of Vancouver, BC, we bought them a phase
convertor. When Pettus Mechanical of Alabama bought 2 HVAC
machines but couldnt get one of them to work even with our tech
support, we gave them a 100% refund.
These
are just a few examples to shown how American Machine Tools
Corporation and our suppliers have the ethics to make sure the
customer gets help when they need it. Something to consider when
choosing YOUR machine tool distributor is how well they handle
problems. To eliminate the difficulty and worry of buying a
metalworking machine, call us.
